The Santander Cultivate Small Business Program is a free, nationwide business training and grant program offering up to $20,000 in funding for eligible food entrepreneurs in 2026. The program is funded by Santander Bank and is open to early-stage food businesses across the United States.
Program Details
The program runs for 12 weeks and is delivered fully online. It is designed specifically for businesses operating in food-related industries, including food production, processing, manufacturing, services, and food technology.
Participants receive:
- Live virtual business classes
- Mentorship from experienced instructors and industry professionals
- Peer networking with food entrepreneurs nationwide
- Unrestricted capital grants upon successful completion
All participants who complete the program receive grant funding.
Grant Amounts
- Minimum grant: $2,500
- Maximum grant: $20,000
- Repayment required: No
- Use of funds: Any legitimate business expense
Higher grant amounts are awarded to top-performing participants.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Business is based in the United States
- Business has operated for at least one year
- Gross revenue between $25,000 and $1,000,000 in the most recent calendar year
- 1–10 full-time equivalent employees, including the owner
- Business operates in a food-related industry
Preference is given to founders located in low- to moderate-income communities, though all eligible applicants are considered.
