🚨 Urgent: Congress to Vote on Corporate Transparency Act Delay – Take Action Now!

URGENT: Stop the Corporate Transparency Act Before It Hurts Small Businesses!

The House is set to vote TONIGHT on a bill that could delay the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA)—and your voice is needed NOW!

The CTA is a costly, unconstitutional mandate that unfairly targets small businesses with fewer than 20 employees, requiring them to report ownership details to FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network). Any failure to comply—intentional or not—could lead to $10,000 in fines and even two years in prison!

For years, NSBA (National Small Business Association) has fought against this burdensome law, challenging it before it was passed and continuing the fight through lawsuits against Treasury’s regulations. Thanks to NSBA’s legal action, members as of March 1, 2024, are temporarily exempt. Other lawsuits have also provided temporary relief for small businesses across the country, but the situation changes almost daily.

The only permanent solution is an act of Congress to repeal the CTA. Rep. Zach Nunn (R-Iowa) has introduced a bipartisan bill to delay the law’s implementation by one year—giving small businesses a fighting chance.
